FedSAq Limited is a pioneering fish feed production company dedicated to revolutionizing the East African aquaculture sector. With a focus on sustainability, FedSAq utilizes innovative technologies such as Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) and spirulina to produce high-quality fish feed that meets the nutritional needs of catfish species. The company seeks to address the significant gap in local fish feed production, where Kenya’s annual demand is estimated at 34,000 tons, with only 7,000 tons produced locally. By integrating waste valorization processes and local sourcing of ingredients, FedSAq aims to provide cost-effective and nutritious feed while supporting local farmers and promoting environmental sustainability. The company looks forward to producing different brands of feeds, namely pelletized feeds, live feeds, extruded feeds, and flaked feeds.

Soofilts aims to provide a nutritious and delicious source of protein as a versatile ingredient for human food processors, pet food companies, livestock feed companies, and poultry feed companies. This superior product is planned to develop different products that ensure complete utilization of the harvested catfish to leave no waste. These are Soofilts’ crumbs, spirals, fortified bones, fish meal, and fish oil.
